Richard P. Bedell, CPA, MBA, is a respected financial leader with a recognized career managing the finances of a variety of organizations including an international sports management firm (IMG), an NFL franchise (Cleveland Browns), a manufacturing business, non-profit organizations and private schools.
He has worked with family-owned businesses both in public accounting and in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He understands the challenges of the owner/manager and assumes a hands-on approach to maximizing cash flow while managing an effective tax plan. He has managed numerous banking relationships and negotiated new credit arrangements to finance growth initiatives.
He has created a financial organization from scratch in a start-up company, reorganized financial departments and accounting systems and implemented new financial software packages. He understands the importance of process in the overall management of costs.
Richard has an undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Northeast Ohio chapter of Financial Executives International, serving as President in 1999.
